What does the term "Town Right-of-Way mean?
As a general guideline, the Town utilizes 10 to 20 feet on each side of the road for street maintenance, drainage and snow storage, depending on where you live. Citizens should be aware that snow operations may require use of the full width of the asphalt and the full 30 foot right-of-way on each side of the road centerline.

Can't the Town remove the snow they put in my driveway?
When you consider the number of driveways in town, it would be very costly and time consuming. Our primary duty is to keep the roadway system open. Current budgets and staffing levels will not allow this type of work. Our crews try to keep this situation to a minumum.
