2016 General Election

In 2013, Colorado became an all mail ballot state due to the passage of House Bill 1303. For the 2016 General Election, all active registered voters were sent a ballot in the mail to the mailing address on record in the state voter registration system. Ballots were mailed by the Grand County Clerk & Recorder on October 17, 2016.

If you have not received a ballot, you can verify your information at www.govotecolorado.com. The last day ballots can be mailed is October 31, 2016. After that date, voters must go to the Voter Service and Polling Center in Hot Sulphur Springs to pick up a ballot or vote in person. Each voter must be present to pick up a ballot and must show his or her ID.

Ballots must be received by the Grand County Clerk & Recorder's Office by 7:00 p.m. on November 8, 2016 in order to be counted. Postmarks do not count.
